Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ServiceSource (servicesource.co.za), operated by CustomBeast Builder (Pty) Ltd. By using our platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Service Description

ServiceSource is a directory connecting homeowners with home service professionals (solar installers, electricians, plumbers, garden services, and handymen) in South Africa. We facilitate connections but are not a party to any agreement between homeowners and service providers.

2. Business Listings

  • Free listings provide basic visibility in our directory
  • Premium (R499/mo) and Pro (R999/mo) plans offer enhanced features including lead notifications and priority placement
  • All listings must contain accurate, truthful information
  • We reserve the right to remove listings that violate these terms
  • You retain ownership of all content you provide

3. Payments & Billing

  • Payments are processed securely via Yoco (card) or EFT (bank transfer)
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly and expire after 30 days
  • No automatic renewals — you must re-subscribe manually
  • Refunds are handled case-by-case; contact us within 7 days of payment
  • All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT

4. Lead Distribution

  • Leads (quote requests from homeowners) are distributed to up to 3 paying businesses matching the service category and location
  • Free-tier businesses do not receive lead notifications
  • We do not guarantee a minimum number of leads
  • Lead information must be used solely for responding to the customer's request

5. Homeowner Responsibilities

  • Quote requests must be genuine and contain accurate contact details
  • Spam, fraudulent, or abusive submissions will result in blocking
  • You are responsible for evaluating and selecting a service provider
  • ServiceSource is not liable for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work performed

6. Disclaimer

ServiceSource acts as a directory and lead generation platform only. We do not employ, endorse, or guarantee any service provider listed on our platform. All engagements between homeowners and service providers are independent agreements.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, ServiceSource and CustomBeast Builder (Pty) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of South Africa.
