From Homeowners (Quote Requests)

• Phone / WhatsApp number
• Email address (optional)
• City / location
• Service description

From Service Providers (Business Listings)

• Business name and description
• Contact details (phone, email, website)
• Physical address and service areas
• Payment information (processed by Yoco — we do not store card details)

2. How We Use Your Information

• To match homeowners with relevant service providers in their area
• To send lead notifications to paying business members
• To send quote confirmations to homeowners
• To process payments and manage subscriptions
• To improve our services and user experience
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Sharing of Information

We share quote request details (name, phone, email, project description) with up to 3 matched, paying service providers. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Our payment processing is handled by Yoco. Email notifications are sent via Resend. These third-party processors only access information necessary to perform their services.

4. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure database hosting via Supabase, and access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your data.

5. Your Rights (POPIA)

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

• Request access to your personal information
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to processing of your data
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator
